'Nothing can touch my boy' was created during my Rothko Symposium residency in Latvia and completed when I returned home to Christchurch.

It’s part of a series of works based on my 12-year-old son, a mixing bowl of experience, imagination and observation. 

I was listening to a lot of Marlon Williams in the studio, hence the title, Nothing can touch my boy.
